Default Used Boat?

Starting to look at used boats this summer and have a budget around 20k. Would like something in the 18ft area, walk through windshield, 150hp area. I know there are other smaller details I am looking for with electronics and trolling motors etc, but I am more concerned about the boat and motor right now. Anybody have any opinions on brands and models in the 2000 to 2007 time to check out or avoid? Boat will be used for 80% fishing and 20% recreational. I fish the Missiouri river mostly in SD and couple trips to Devils Lake. If I am missing any other info let me know. This will be my second boat.

You should be able to pick up a nice Alumacraft Navigator, Dominator or Trophy for that. I havent heard of many issues with these boats in that range of years

Bigstorm is right on the money -- 18' Alumacraft with a 150 in the 07/08 years should run around $20K. Be sure to use Searchtempest to search all of Craigslist -- you can narrow the search to within the desired miles of your home.
Good luck

I just posted an ad here for my Stratos 386 in the Walleye Central classifieds here that you might want to check out. It is pretty similar to the boat that you described.
Of course I'm a bit of a drive from South Dakota.

Right around 2004-2006 is when most outboards switched to EFI. I would look for a boat with EFI, if you are looking for 4 strokes.
