My son bought me a extendable pole that has a hook on the side and knob on the end use it all the time when fishing alone to grab dock and pull boat in or if aground to push boat away from shore

A coast guard auxiliary diploma that you/ him has passed and a pilots course and a rules of the road sticker. All boats are good, a bad captain sinks even great boats. A 14 year old can operate a boat

Two things that come to mind are not necessarily fishing items, but everyone should have a micro lithium jump pack in their boat, and it's also handy to have a small bluetooth speaker you can leave in the boat.

Maybe Boat Buckle retractable straps for the trailer if they don't have those already.

Good rain gear, a helix, and a tackle backpack are three that come to mind. I really liked the backpack when I was a non-boater fishing tournaments, easy to carry and held enough gear for me. I still use it in my boat now.
