An impossible question. But the OP said favorite movie, singular. I could go with something classic like “Casablanca” cause I love Bogart, but I’m gonna say “True Grit” by the Cohen brothers. I keep going back to it. I think I’ve seen it seventeen times! Never fails me.

Toss-up between David Lynch's 1984 version of "Dune" & Zach Snyder's (2006) "300".

Best Lo-Budget never-seen-by-anyone-else movie, without a doubt, is Michael Mann's (1983) "The Keep".

Most outrageous series: Rob Zombie's "House of 1,000 Corpses" (2003)/"The Devil's Rejects" (2005)/"3 From He11" (2019).

Best NaZombie movies: Outpost trilogy (creepiest) - "Outpost" (2008)/"Outpost: Black Sun" (2012)/"Outpost: Rise of the Spetsnaz" (2013) tied with the Dead Snow duology: "Dead Snow" (2009)/"Dead Snow 2: Red vs Dead" (2014). If you are going to watch zombies, don't waste your time on anything else - these are the 5 best Nazi Zombie movies ever made and arguably the best zombie movies ever made beyond George Romero's "Night of the Living Dead".

(PS: "Rob Roy" was a WAAAAAAAAAY better movie throughout than "Braveheart", and SHOULD have been the "Best Picture" Oscar winner for 1995 (68th Academy Awards), Jessica Lange SHOULD have won "Best Actress", and Tim Roth SHOULD have won "Best Supporting Actor".)

Miracle

That game was more than just a hockey game, that was the beginning of the end of the Soviet Union. That victory had a bigger impact on the good of this country than most realize.
