Default Cleaner for hull

What are you using for the outside of your boat. I have a painted aluminum, starcraft fishmaster. TIA

Dish Soap and water for dirt/scum. Follow up with vinegar/water wipe down for water spots. Wax if you are really motivated

Thanks, but soap and water are not cutting it. I am looking at getting it to look like new. I tried starbrite, which helped quite a bit, but still not like new.

I had a bad scum line, used CRL bathroom cleaner and it worked great. Got all my water spots and scum off the hull and motor.

I use Lime Away for water spots followed by hand wash with car soap and water. Then i use an orbital waxer with a good wax. Shines like new.

Two things:

LCR which removes the bulk of the crud.

Then, for any reddish or brown stains, Iron Out to remove the iron stains.

If there is anything left, simple green will remove the rest.

Best wishes.

LCR removes the calcium and lime deposits.
Iron Out removes any iron related stains.
Simple green is just a good dirt and general cleaner.

Best wishes.
