Default Saginaw River

Lots of shorts in the Saginaw River right now. The 2 of us ended up with 6 keepers and threw back over 20 each that were just short of the 13" limit on Wednesday. Looks great for the future. Water was 35 deg and 2-3' of visibility. Caught them all by the U.S.S. Edson in Bay City.

Seen quite a few boats in the river as I was crossing the Zilwauke bridge.

The future of those fish are dependent of not listing them on the internet. You pin pointed the area way too much and should ask a monitor to remove this post.

I hope your walleye population will continue to get better.

The walleye population in the Saginaw bay and river is at an all time high. DNR reducing size limits and increasing creel limits to try and keep the population from crashing and give some of the other species a chance to recover.

Just sayin

You are surely correct. The walleye fishing has been nothing short of phenomenal for a few years now. I can't remember the last time they had to plant any.
