Default Ranger bottom color opinions, b

Hello everyone. Ordering new Ranger Angler this week. Read some of the prior posts on this topic.

Current Reata has the white bottom and don't like it. It yellows and shows dirt.

Looking at Charcoal or Black bottom. Know it will show scratches but I believe it will be better than white. All opinions welcome. Thank you in advance.

Actually you probably won't benefit from my opinion... I like the bottom to be as light a color as possible, so for my new 620FS Cup I went with WHITE.

Just like cars/trucks the lighter color boats look cleaner upon retrieve from the launch. I have a Forest Green boat but sometimes wish I would of went with a white boat as I was planning on.

Just take notice the next few times when your at the launch and you will notice the dark/black colored boats look much dirtier then the light/white boat hulls.

I launch in a muddy type creek about half my season the the boat AND black trailer look like he!! when I pull it out of there.........it's gets me so Grrrrrrrrr

Just sold my 2016 Ranger Reata 2050LS this past week and pick my 2020 Angle 2080r up next week. I've had both white bottom hulls and black bottom and prefer the dark. Yes, the dark will show some dirt, water spots, etc a little more, but when it's wiped off and clean, IMO looks way better.

Just give a quick wipe off or use some spray cleaner and you're good to go.

I have a 2019 620 FS. I went with the grey color for the bottom. I think it looks great and a good balance as far as water spots and scratches.

I have both black and white hulls currently. I'm very picky about cleanliness so I try to wipe each down each time...takes just a few minutes.... but black probably shows less.... each color can get grimy if left dirty and show.

the bass guys think its best to have dark hulls on overcast days, dirty water and light on sunny days clear water....who knows...

I went with White on the boat I have on order, as I mentioned, but I thought Light Gray and Taupe both looked like good choices as well, and probably hid spots and such better than White or any other color.

Great info. Leaning Carbon Mist hull with black bottom or Silver Fox Mist with charcoal bottom. Thoughts?
