What new unit for ice/boat dual use?

I mostly use the 5 for Ice Fishing. The 7 mostly stays home.



I think the 5 is too small for open water fishing, especially at it when glancing from the other end of the boat. So I would highly recommend the 7 if I was to only go with one.
