Default Warrior V203

So after taking a break from fishing I decided to get back into it. I knew I wanted a glass boat. I looked at the major brands and with my way of trolling and wanting room I didn't want to do horseshoe boxes. So after looking and researching (I saw Waxy's glowing reports of the Warrior) I ran across a 2013 V203 and bought it. I'll go this weekend and let you know what I think. Figured since I joined the forum I might as well post something.

Awesome. You're gonna love it!

If you've got any questions or you're looking for ideas/suggestions on rigging, let me know, I'd be happy to help.

Congrats, looks like an awesome boat. I've always looked at the Warriors as glass versions of the classic Lund Tyee . Not really a direct comparison but rather from an aesthetic point of view, like if someone told me they were making a glass Tyee what i would expect is the Warrior 203, if that makes sense. Love the flat dash top to fit some big screens on!!

And Waxy if you're still in that blue Warrior 208 that you posted pics of on another site in 2016, then also congrats, that is a magnificent machine. Just came across that old post. Beautiful boat my man.

Yep, still in it. It's been the best boat I've ever owned or fished out of.

It's my dream machine and it's treated me very, very well. It is EXACTLY what I wanted from options to color, but I'm actually thinking about selling it this fall and ordering another 208. If they raise the max. HP rating to 400, I won't be able to resist lol.

Well, went out for the weekend and it went well. Caught several fish. The boat handled well. There was lots of room in the back. Fished with 4 rods in the back with slow death rigs and had no problems, even in the wind.

is there anything you don't like about the 208? going to do a test drive up at LOTW in a week or so, hoping for some waves for a good test drive. got to ride in it in waves before I will consider trading in my skeeter. thanks in advance Waxy

I bought a new V203 in 2016. Fishes like a dream. I like it more every time I fish out of it, if that is possible.

Take it for a test run in 2+ footers and decide for yourself.

I never planned on buying a Warrior but the layout was exactly what I was looking for and the ride sealed the deal.
