Default MinnKota 70# PowerDrive V2 Auto Pilot

Bought a new boat last year and have been pretty happy with it.

It came with a 24V MinnKota 70# PD2 w/ Auto Pilot. Most of the time it works fine, but when I kick it up to high speeds (8+) the Auto Pilot occasionally flakes out and starts spinning. Anybody else experiencing this? Any ways you can think of to resolve the issue?

Yeah love the I pilot!!! Just ordered a new 70# powerdrive V2 with the upgraded I pilot today for the new boat...

Never had a auto pilot problem on the boats i've been in that were equipped with it...

If it has a foot pedal, remove it and see if this clears the problem! A friend of mine had the same problem with his I - Pilot. He removed the pedal and it worked fine!
