i use nothing but 8 strands myself.

Used super slick v2 last year on my spinning gear and didn't like it. Unfortunately I'm old and I don't remember what exactly I didn't like about it. I switched back to the original power pro this year and it's great.

I love it, many of my associates Hate it. Im not sure why.

I tried it when it first came out. It was prone to wind knots, twisting and breakage. Maybe that has something to do with my aggressive fishing style, snap jigging and blade baits mostly. At the time I tried nanofil I was using 832 and later tried power pro and jbraid. Both of those were good performers.

I rip blades all the time on Nano. 832 works fine also.
