Default Trolling/casting

Wiggle warts and Walleye. Do many of you fish these types of baits for Walleye? I know that a lot people use the Bandit style, but just curious.

Default Hot n tot

I have not personally used wiggle warts for trolling, but I have used Hot n Tots with great success. Similar lures with slightly different profile and action. Would have to believe they would work as well.

Hot n Tots work really well, wish they made a size bigger than 2.5”

Hot n Tots are great baits, I have caught many species on them. But I have quite a few blank warts, of various sizes which I plan to paint and use them for Walleye.

Wiggle Warts will catch a lot of walleye in the right body of water. They have caught a ton of walleye yesterday on Saginaw Bay but today Salmo Hornets have put a dent in their use. At the right times, the Wart is still a warrior.

"To some extent we are all like little boys. We tend to put away or neglect our old toys in favor of new ones. Do the new colors, shapes, and other things catch more fish? Of course they catch more fish because we run them more. Like little boys, every once in a while, we pull out an old toy and have more fun with it."
