Default Cajun seasoning

Had lunch today at a small bar / restaurant near my house.
The cheese burger was especially good and the bartender said they use a ground beef in 80 / 20 ratio. The real "secret" was the Cajun seasoning on the burger.
He would not share with me the name of the seasoning sadly.

Would like suggestions from you folks about a good Cajun seasoning to put on burgers and perhaps steaks. I dont want the seasoning to be too hot - just enhance the flavor.

Thanks in advance!

I've tried a lot of these and found Louisiana makes a good one. Tony Chachere's Creole is a really good all around seasoning with a little heat. The grand daddy IMO would be
Slap Ya' Mama this one is fantastic but be careful as it says in the name it will slap ya if you get carried away.

Buy this one online and you will forget about all the store bought ones.

No fancy catch phrase name, just dam good Cajun flavor!

I suggest the Jamaican Jerk Rub, the Coffee Steak Rub, and the Canadian Steak Seasoning.
Free Samples to boot!

I make my own. Celery powder is the key. paprika, onion and garlic powder, oregano, thyme, black pepper, cayenne. Just mix in a bowl...done.

I like to add rosemary but it changes the flavor little from the traditional.

If you want some salt in it, use celery salt instead of celery powder. And you can add salt to taste of course. I like little or no salt then add sea salt to food as needed. but you can play with it anyway you want.

Make your own, or try Penzeys. They have all sorts of rubs, shake on and varieties, all available online or in the stores.

X2 Tony's Creole. Use it alot. Peps up chicken, chops, Jambalaya and similar without intimidating folks.

Penzy's (penzeys.com) has an amazing array of spices, sauces and additives. Storefronts are pick up only at the moment. Online purchasing is a class operation although right now it is slightly slower due to the health circumstances. My favorite is Tuscan Sunset which is a great addition to Marinara, salads, soups and Kraft Mac/cheese. The Greek is another favorite on salads or some rub combinations.

Another vote for Tony Chachere's. When it's salty enough it's spicy enough.
