Default Mercury parts

Does anyone know where I can get Mercury parts for a 2006 Mercury 8 horse? Mercury warehouses are out of stock of the part I need until June 12th, and I have a fishing trip planned on the 15th. That is cutting it pretty close and I would like to get the part as soon at possible. It is part number 16172, CAM, Clutch if that helps. Any ideas would be great. Thanks.

If you have a cabelas somewhat close to you that works on Mercury they might have your parts.

You could look up your parts on Mercury's web site, Get the part numbers and then search the internet.

I would just start calling dealers, its not an old motor so I am sure someone has to have one in stock. Even if you have to pay to ship it because they're on the other side of the country!
