Default Gods country

This is the type of days we live in Minnesota for.
Low 70's, sunny, light winds. With the windows open I can faintly hear the fishing jumping on the Canadian side of Rainy Lake.

A little warmer and more windy down here in the Brainerd lakes area, and I can only hear the Canadian fish in my dreams, but definitely one of those days we love to enjoy in MN. Makes winter a distant memory.

It really is a fantastic place. It always reminds me of where I grew up, the air seems so clean and easy to breath versus the oppressive heat in the south for a large part of the year. For me, when we get to IFalls it is where it feels like our vacation has finally begun.

Well...i realize there is a history here but to come on here and make a derogatory comment just isnt cool. Not what this site is about,no need for that.

It was quite a day yesterday. The fish are jumping and biting just down the street from you. I'll be heading to the Rainy River @ the Big Fork later today. We've been pulling lots of sturgeon out of there this spring.

I suggest keeping your windows closed when wind is blowing from the North.
