Cool Stratos 386 xf

I've decided to search for a glass boat this year. Looking for a 2005/2006 Stratos 386xf. They are hard to find. Would appreciate it if anyone had a lead on one. Thanks

MH,
They are hard to find because the owners like them and are not selling them.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, they are nice rigs. Hopefully someone on this great site will know someone looking to upgrade to a newer boat.

Thanks Sled22,

Yes, that is a nice rig. I'm trying to find one priced between 15K and 17K. I did see a couple posted earlier this year that were in this price range but wasn't ready to pull the trigger. Thanks for looking! MH

I have the exact boat (2006) you are looking for but don’t want to part with it. We are not budgeted for upgrade right now. I got it from this place (http://upnorthrecreationllc.com/) in 2016. He had two on the floor that day. Not sure how often he gets them through there. I love my boat and would recommend one. Only complaints are Fewer bells and whistles than some other brands, Batteries are in awkward spot and no tow bar for kids (added a turboswing). Otherwise, great boat for kids and fishing for the price. Good Luck!

Thanks TRFDDS!

I found one listed on another website but it is kind of beat up. It has damage to the fiberglass which would need some professional attention. Also, the outboard had many hours on it. The vinyl seats were all weather checked as well. They still wanted 19K. I will keep looking.

Out of curiosity, what makes you think that $15-17K is a reasonable range, at this time of year? People looking for new (to them) boats have been to boats shows, the ice is starting to melt, selling prices increase for a while, until it's time to put them away for the winter again.

Good luck looking, but you may be waiting for a while, unless you decide to spend more $$$.

Thanks for your comment HRG. Yes, understand the fluctuation in market pricing. I've seen several in this general price range. I am open to paying more just thought I would try and stay within a specific budget. I have five kids and am not ready for a pontoon if you know what I'm saying. The 386 xf is an ideal rig because of the additional jump seats in the stern.
