Sorry, but a bit under-whelming. They missed the mark by not incorporating their DPS steering system into this handle, to challenge the Mercury power-tiller steering offering. "Digital", in this case, only refers to the shift/throttle connection.

I heard Evinrude was cutting the price of their outboards by 50%! Seeing how they have half the parts of 4 strokes, they can sell them at half price. LOL!

I agree completely. And I'm an E-Tec nut.

Appreciate the write-up in the 60hp thread.

I too am very disappointed in the Evinrude tiller. I thought when they were going to design the tiller handle for the G2, it would be just as impressive as the G2 itself. Mercury and Yamaha both have much better tiller handles.
I'm very pleased with the Evinrude E-TEC 75, I have. No complaints. I just think they could have done a better job on the tiller.

Only for the 115???? There's virtually zero market for 115 tillers anymore and I mean zero.

Brb a little behind the times when it comes to their outboards.

Some people are a little behind when knowing the name of a company, it’s BPR.

Actually it’s BRP Bombardier Recreational Products. I have nothing against ETEC motors but I would opt for a Yamaha or a Mercury tiller over this new model.
