Default Fishing Dale Hollow

Looking at taking a trip up to Dale Hollow in June and was wondering if anyone had any advise of where the best place to launch from would be. Really wanting to target walleye mainly. This way I could find a place to stay relatively close. Any other information would be great to as I've never been. Planning on staying a week to check out the lake and the area. Thanks in advance for your time.

Are you RVing or planning on staying at a resort/cabins? Willow Grove has cabins and is right off the main lake. Sunset is up on the Obey arm where Tn 111 crosses, has cabins and houseboats, for rent. There are numerous other resorts and State/Corp of Engineer Campgrounds. I've been fishing there for better than 30 years.

I stayed in the ....holly creek cabins i believe the matina was called. The cabins are up the hill and road from the marina and your not allowed to keep your boat and trailer at the cabin, but rather in another parking lot further up the road. You can get a marina slip but i imagine that will cost more. Stayed there without a boat just before the peak season and costed about as kuch as a nicer hotel room a night. Cabins were phenominal, two bedrooms, beautiful with hot tubs on the deck for each cabin. It is easy getting a fishing license also right at the gas, bait shop in town.
