Default Smart gauges?

Anyone running a 200 Merc. V6 with Merc Smart Gauges? I have questions on the gauges. My Merc is a 2021 and perhaps other model year are similar…..but I cant get a water pressure reading. Someone told me that I need to purchase an optional sensor, but I have little faith in that opinion. Motor pees fine and does not overheat. NOTE. I have the water pressure gauge turned on…so that’s not the problem.

Mike,
I'm pretty sure you need to add the water pressure sensor kit. Try this approach, and if it leads to a dead-end, let me know and I'll contact a friend at Mercury. I'm on the road this week, so I might be slow in responding.

The sensor kit will include an instruction sheet with pictures and is plug and play if the water PSI screen is turned on in your gauge. Your serial number can be used on Mercury’s website to find the part number in the Parts Catalog under the Parts and Accessories tab.

Thanks runner. I’ll begin to look at this tomorrow. I’m out this weekend so it may be early next week if I get back. Thx again.
