Default I finally did it, the Classic

Moving spots on Saturday morning and the motor wonít start. What they hey? It was running fine half an hour ago. Most of you have guessed already but Iíll finish the story anyway. Check the bulb, nope, nice and firm. Did I flood it? Doesnít smell like it. Canít have lost spark on all cylinders, hmm. Look back at the console. Yep, kill switch is off. Sometimes itís a real relief to feel dumb.

How I managed to pull it or if the dog got it while I was fishing Iíll never know. But I think Iíll change my routine of putting it on my life jacket after I start the motor. I do the same thing in the car. Start the engine and let it idle for 10-15 seconds while put on my seat belt and arrange whatever needs arranging. Always seemed like a good idea though Iím sure it makes very little difference.

Get a hair thingy like the women wear. Clip the tether to that and slip that on & off your wrist. Slap a piece of velcro on the center of the steering wheel to stick it to when you stop.

I just clip the lanyard around the top of my knee. It's much easier to remember it's there.

I got a new lanyard this spring. The old one was stretched out to around 35í. Maybe that has something to do with it.
