Yup. Will probably need to build up the tapered blank to achieve a proper fit, also under the new reel seat. You'll need to rattail or otherwise ream out the rear cork or foam grip to fit, use epoxy glue to secure all. 16mm seat will be on the small side, 17mm is a kind of standard for medium, 18mm if heavy duty, etc.
