I just shake the bottle....put the cranks on the drying wheel. Then use a cheap paint brush and brush it on. I haven’t noticed the scent being to strong.

I really enjoy painting myself as well, especially in these cold winter months. I haven’t done much this winter because of some issues with my airbrush that I haven’t gotten around to fixing. Here are a few that I’ve done over the past couple years.

That purple over yellow or chartreuse looks really good. I was just sanding ready for priming a floating Rapala for just those same colors. Nice job!!

Floating original Rapala are probably still one of the most fish catching lures ever made.

Thanks Pooch. That one’s a Smithwick P10 and it was a hot color for me last spring.

Hey does anyone know where a guy can get blank crank bodies like the salmo hornet.

I've got a number of crank bait bodies but would love to get my hands on some blank salmo hornet bodies

Also the reef runner bodies would be nice.

Thinking....salmo and reef runners might not be made in China....hence why there aren't any blank bodies for sale?

Jann's Netcraft carries a bunch of different body styles, not sure if any any are/are close to Salmo.
