Default Anyone using a python kicker steering system?

I am planning on adding a 9.9 kicker to my Crestliner Super hawk and looking at a python kicker steering system. Does anyone have python kicker steering system? How has the unit held up how well does it work? Any other issues?

Thanks Mat

What brand outboard is it on and how long do the remote batteries last?

The python Steering system is the way to go hands down.

We had the bar between the two motors and just got to be a pain in the arse to deal with.

The python will allow you more side to side travel as the bar limited us. Also its much faster moving than spinning the wheel. Year 2 problem free. I won't own a boat without one now. I know a few guys that run them, and haven't heard of any issues.

Haven't changed batteries and keep in mind, if you buy a new boat it's pretty quick to remove it and install it on a new boat if needed.
