Default Columbia river

Has anyone here fished the Columbia river for walleyes. I am planning a trip come March and would appreciate a little input from some who have been their. Thanks WOpp

No input yet, we are planning a trip the end of February. Can I ask who you booked with or are you going self guided? Hope you slay em'!

I may go by the seat of my pants, I am looking at the tri-citys area on the snake and columbia confluance. I am going to chat with a guide or two just to see about timing.

March is a great time for walleye on the Columbia. That is a popular time for prespawn large fish. If you want to book a guide, I’d get it done soon. Vertical jigging and blade baits are popular that time of year. Minimum 1/2 ounce, bigger is better. No leeches or minnows out here.

can you recommend guides and lodging and best times ,Feb. or March

Kimo Gabriel, TJ Hester, Walleye Willy are a few. Do a google search for contact information. Lots of motels in TrCities. Weather can be dicey in Feb/March.
