Thanks Waldo, I’ll give them a try.

Btw, this past weekend was the opener here, water 46 and pulse-r out fished all other baits by a wide margin. I believe it was because we could snap them as fast as the others but they had a much slower fall rate with good action.

Chartreuse green core was the ticket that weekend and this past one. Oyster and PB&J also worked. Fluke tail silver/blue back was not good, olive keitech did ok but didn't last more than a couple fish while the pulse-r and moxie were good for many fish this past weekend. Everything wanted those baits. Even caught a bluegill on a 3.25" moxie.

This was a shock to me....i couldn't catch a fish on a swi bait to save my life. I love tne looks of them and do throw them (usually on a heavier head) for deeper water. I don't know

This is a pretty easy answer for me, Z-Man PaddleZ & Diezel minnow in 3-5". These baits simply work. They are by far the most durable. Rigging on a jig head can be a bit tricky, but if you take your time and use some super glue, this bait will outlast your jig. Cant say enough things about Zman plastics, also for color, all colors work as long as its pearly white.

Most times I am throwing them around weeds and moss so I prefer ripple shads. I like to feel the tail beating back and forth when i jig so I know if it's mossed or weeded up.
