Default Helix 10 SI Mega Chirp

Ok, so I just purchased and hooked up my new Helix 10 SI Mega chart. I have a lakemaster chip now, just the plain Jane Wisconsin Lake map. I am wondering what kind of card i will need to use the auto chart feature. Does the Zero Line card already have the maps built in? As in, are the lake maps on there already and can be remapped? Just curious what kind of cards i need to get so I can auto chart a couple of spots on my lake that arent up to date on the map card that I have. Thanks in advance.

If you want to make your own maps with the auto chart live feature you will just need the zero lines card. They have the lake outlines, your data fills in the blanks and allows you to record over the ~10 hours worth of memory built into the unit. Worth noting, the zero line card doesn't have any depth data, so you'll likely still want your existing chip in too. As you collect data you can adjust the layering and transparency to show whichever map you prefer.

You have 8 hours internal recording time, the ZLC can store more than we'll probably use in a lifetime.

ACL files are small.

You also have the ability to adjust the transparency so ACL mapping can be overlaid with LK or NAV mapping.

The stuff is awesome & the ZLC is well worth the price!

No, you would need a second ZLC, just like any other map card.

So then I could transfer data from one ZL card right over to the other? Do I need a certain program to do that or can I just copy and paste?

Copy Paste is fine. Make sure to not mess with folder structure and such.
