I would add i-Pilot for the TM and you will be good to go.

I made my own rod holder applications and downrigger platforms........a LOT cheaper then buying them.

NO, not anymore then any other boat on the lake that day.......

I fish mostly Erie for perch until June then Walleye till Sept when we go back to perch again.

The i-Pilot will hold my boat in place all day long with 3' waves......I have 2 Group 31 Duracell batteries from Sam's Club to power the TM...

Does this boat come with a onboard charging system ? I ordered mine with a 3 bank charger and that makes sure all my batteries are fully charged when I leave the house/dock. If you don't have one have the dealer install one or you can do it yourself if your a little handy.

I use the TM to slowly drag worm harnesses for walleyes and if the wind is enough for a good drift we will go that instead.

You will have plenty of power with that 80 thrust TM, mine is only 70 and it's does great.

On days when the wind really starts to BLOW I will set out a wind sock to slow down our drift while dragging worm harnesses.

Here's a couple of pics of my vessel.......

NICE ! ! ! you will love that boat......it's REAL wide and very stable in big lakes not to mention all the room to fish.

As far as a transom saver, I inquired with my dealer whom I have know for over 30 years and he recommended NOT to use a transom saver because it transfers all the pounding from road bumps to the lower unit of the motor which shortens the live of the lower unit. E-TEC has a trailer bracket that holds up the engine for trailering and it works GREAT.

For the rod holders I took the end caps off the transom corners and put in stainless steel bolts in the slots.........HOWEVER, I seen at this years boat show that Polar Kraft added cut out now near the transom to save you that trouble......

Your Suzuki manual answers your question. It specifies a bar to trailer transom saver. There is a small segment of boaters that canít put a transom saver on correctly, but if you can put a round peg through a round hole you can handle it.

Suzuki most not come with a trailering bracket like the E-TEC's do.
