I appreciate that, I will look through some of the other threads you have posted. Great idea. I saw the mfg link and looked at the device. Now I have to have the visual.

Thank you!

Hi - couple of questions on your bow mount.

Why did you choose to mount to the bow panel versus just mounting to the floor? To save the couple of inches in floor space?

With your mount, the wires appear to be routed to about a 1" hole. Many times when I fish I am taking water over the bow from the waves, my concern would be water running into the 1" hole. I know the water would works it way down and out but still don't think I would want the water coming in versus the standard shroud with wires entering from the bottom of the shroud.

That was a bad angle of the picture. It is actually a cup holder already from the dealer like that. There is no drain holes in the bottom of the plastic holder. I am going to try to add a picture right, in advance I apologize if it's the wrong angle.

Sorry my questions were to X20LEGEND who used a gimbal bracket mount to his 621 bow panel versus mounting the gimbal bracket directly to the floor.

Had great fun with the install this winter. One short test run before the Mississippi rose to flood level and all is working as anticipated. Still have a lot to learn regarding the SmartCraft suite.

Lowrance LIVE units all the way around.

12" on a 2.25" short RAM and hand made gimbal at the consol.
7" on a hand made mount and stock gimbal at the console.
Lowrance VHF radio in hand made bracket.
9" at the bow on an awesome Blue Water mount.
Point 1 Antenna.
Weather Module.
NMEA network and Ethernet cables tie everything together.
MotorGuide with the gateway.
SmartCraft Tach, upgraded SmartCraft Speedo and VesselView Link.
3 in 1, TM 150 and 83/200 transducers.

Thanks for the complement Masterchither.

Forgot to mention the 31 cat AGM dedicated to the electronics. Added a separate fuse panel for the electronics and the power switch is located just below the 7" unit in the four gang panel. Electronics battery is charged via Blue Sea VSR connected to the start battery. Also added voltage gauges and momentary switches so I can get instant voltages directly from the two trolling motor batteries, the electronics battery and the start battery. Three bank Minn Kota 45 amp charger keeps things alive when I have access to 110 power. Half the time I don't have access to 110 power so I added a Minn Kota alternator charger to charge the trolling motor batteries when the main motor is running, but that doesn't do the job completely. Still needs occasional top off.

I've rigged this one just like my 2008 Pro V so I didn't have reinvent the wheel. Know anyone looking for a well equipped Pro V. I think it's still listed in the classified section.

Default 621 FS Cup Install

Just completed the installs on my 2020 621fs Cup. Some details include:

- Top Console HDS12 mounted on a Blue Water mount.
- Bottom Console HDS12 mounted on a diy fixed mount.
- Front HDS12 mounted on a Blue Water mount.
- All HDSs networked via ethernet and NMEA2000.
- Mercury Gateway 2000 interfaces motor to Lowrance units.
- Lowrance NMEA 2000 Fuel Data Manager.
- Structurescan 3d module and transducer (on Stern Saver mount).
- Airmar TM165HW High Chirp transducer (on Stern Saver mount).
- Standard Horizon GX1400 VHF. Originally installed in cubby near the drivers right foot. It was impossible to see the display in this location so I built a diy mount to install under the dash.
- Shakespeare 6400R VHF antenna. I removed one of the rear tool holders and created a diy mounting plate.

Thalweg: Good looking job. Got to love those Blue Water mounts. Where did you get the transducer cable fasteners. Are they glued on like the Stern Savers?
