My daughter was in FFA for a bit in High School.
They were to present chicken breasts to judges to be graded on overall meat quality in one of their classes. They raised their own chickens and were judged against Tyson and a couple other brands.

I only remember Tyson because she said they came in last in every contest.

As far as breast meat, look into the striations you see in them. If you look at Tyson and other hormone pumped chicken, you'll see white lines going across them from the abnormal growth. Much tougher meat. If you compare it to non-hormone and non-GMO breast meat, it's smooth color, much more tender, and tastes much better.
