Default Humminbird 859ciHD moused chewed transducer cable

Hey everyone I have a crazy question.
I am leaving for Dale Hollow at 9AM tomorrow morning and I just noticed evidently a mouse chewed thru a few of the wires in my transducer cable.
I am aware that some of the inner cables are shielded, so if I just reconnect the wires will the unit work at all or can\will it damage the head unit if I repair it and plug it in??

If anything is shorted to shield or another wire your unit could suffer. It sounds like that is 2D only. any Bass pro,Cabelas or other large sports store should have one. Sorry for the timing. Good luck. Bob

If you fix it you better keep the water out of the connection.
