Default Replacement Net

I have about a 10 year old Beckman net that could use a net bag replacement. The net is about 24x22" and while Beckman makes a replacement that may fit, it does not seem to be available anywhere that I can find. The net is solid and great for walleyes, I'd really rather not trash it. Any other alternatives? I assume I want something coated so hooks won't catch in it easily.

not knowing the model number of your net, this is the best I can do.

You can replace the bag on any brand net with any other brand bag.

I've heard nothing but good things about the "Ranger" net. I have a new Beckman net and the bag sucks. The holes are too small and the hooks constantly get hooked in the neetting.

Then, if a fish twists and turns in the net before you get it out, it's a freak'n messy tangle.

I'm going to replace mine with the Ranger bag today. Blow day today, and I have to go get new tires near Toledo, so I'll be near their shop and can stop in and pick one up.

Thanks for reminding me!

Of the ten Ranger Net products I looked at at Dick's only one was listed as USA made, a minnow trap. All other products including all nets were listed as imported, or no country of origin given. I suspect only a few high end models are USA made.
