Default New shotgun

I'm looking at a franchi affinity 3, 12 gauge, 28" bbl, wood stock.
Anyone have one, or shot one? The good, and the bad. It's about 750 New, seems like a nice gun. Using it for clays, mostly.

My grandpa has one. It is a nice gun overall. It is very light compared to my Browning Gold and my SBE 2. He has a had a few jamming issues but nothing ridiculous. I have only shot it maybe 10 times. It swings nice and aims well.

For that price range, I think it is a good option. The Winchester SX3 is very similar in weight and price. My duck hunting partner has one of those and that gun has never missed a beat. Cycles everything.

I have had a few semi-autos and the benelli is a pretty sweet shooing gun and it is easy to clean!

Franchi is a very nice gun, I have an autoloader that points and shoulders very easily. the inertia system flat out works and is very easy on the shoulder. Used it a couple weeks ago on pheasants in SD shooting 3" 5 shot Prairie storm and never missed a beat. The only fault was the guy behind the gun.

looked at them very hard. Great reviews and inertia system is just like Benelli's....same company. I bought a Beretta a300 and recently bought a Benelli Super Vinci....great deal at $1100 NEW!!! and camo finish. I have no issue with Franchi but I'd shoulder the a300....of the dozen people I have talked with that own one including me they are great guns. If you ever sell it you'd be better off with a gun that starts with a "B".

Franchi is a "B", without the extra $500. My TIKKA T3 is a Sako without the extra $1000. Just sayin.
