Default Dodge Cummins help please

I have a 2014 Cummins. Drove it yesterday and everything was fine. Went out this morning and when I go to start it I get a single "click". Not several clicks in a row like with a dead battery. I had this happen once before either last year or the year before but can't remember the solution. Any idea's?

Thanks.

Can you jump start it? If so it would lead me to the batteries.

Thank you, according to that it is battery related. I'll dump the charger on it in the morning and see what happens.

Are your batteries AGM type? If so one or both are bad. My BIL's factory AGM's in his 2015 Ford F 350 diesel went bad this past fall, would not take a charge. Replaced both all is good. My 2014 Dodge Durango did the same thing as your truck, the factory AGM went bad all of the sudden, replaced and all is also good.

Clean the battery posts charge it and when you can replace the batteries. Happened to my 2012 while camping in DC fine one day nothing the next cleaned the posts let it sit got it to start made it home with no problem then went and got new batteries. Originals were 5 yrs old mine has two batteries there is a lot of drain with all the stuff on these new vehicles.

Everybody knows we need to coddle Bobby and his ego. He NEEDS to attack to get the post counts. I mean without attacks he would be reduced to what? See the problem?

No, Bobby is like the second grade class clown. He needs to draw the attention to make himself feel relevant. What he has never caught onto is, most here are adult and see right through him.

So no, let Bobby boy be Bobby. The adults will work around him and occasionally toss him a bone to chew on.
