I’ve got two Tempress Navistyle seats in my boat. They were in there when I bought it, but so far so good.
A friend has them in his boat also and he likes them as well.

Default replacement seats

Look at Veada Industries in New Paris, IN 547-832-4775. Have used the 700 series on several boats. Cost is around $169.00 each.

I have 1 of these & 2 of their bass seats. Love them--- water doesn't make them soggy, so I stay dry. Seem to be solid too. Way less pricey than other posts:

Not sure what you mean exactly about back rest broke but if the bolts rotted away on back rest, you can redo all that yourself and keep same upholstry if its good shape...very easy. Maybe the whole metal bracket broke which is another deal in itself

the wood inside the backrest was rotten. cant really see a way to fix it without the same cost as a new seat.
