MK Terrova 12v or 24v

I have a 2010 Alumacraft Classic 165 tiller, Yamaha 50, Terrova 55 12-V run off a group 29 wet cell battery and a MinnKota alternator charger which switches over to charge the trolling motor off the outboard when the main battery is fully charged. I do several 5-night boat-in camping trips in Voyageur's National Park every summer. I'm a little conservative in how I use the trolling motor, but it has always worked fine for me. I do enough running around that the battery is sufficiently charged throughout my trips. No regrets.
