Default Tips for Ashland in July?

Going to be fishing out of Ashland Wisc in early July.
Going out of Rock River inn and bait shop in Ashland.

Any suggestions for fishing then?
Open for most anything, but walleyes, trout, salmon be first choice.

I have just about everything we need to fish Superior, just never fished there before.

TIA

Al

Early July will be a great time in Chequamegon bay. Find the first weed break and work it over. Walleye, Smallmouth should be starting to heat up by then. I did well on the coho, this spring out of Washburn across the bay. Lots of water, the smallmouth when turned on can be a blast, and always the chance at big walleye. The entire east side of the bay is a big flat ie. Ashland side. The Washburn side is deeper, Lake trout out around the islands should be starting to kick in. Watch the near shore weather forecast, the bay and around the islands like any place on Superior can get pretty whipped up and make for some wild rides.
