Glass usually has a better ride than aluminum. in the past I have had Lund 16 ft pro v. Alunacraft 18 ft competitor. 1895 storm and now 1850 reata
Glass gets my vote all the time now . love the reata

He had a 1997 fiberglass and a 2014 crestliner so between that and YouTube he has all the answers. I'd rely on someone's word that stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night over this guy. Still waiting on the answer on what a video of a decade old boat has anything to do with this post.

Not to add fuel to the fire, but I ran Ranger 1880 for 2 years and my current alumacraft 205 for about 2 years. My 205 rides softer under most conditions. I believe its the extra length that helps. I'd think a 20'+ glass boat would ride better than my 205 though. No question.

That extra 2 feet from a 18 to a 10 footer makes a ton of difference handling wise. If my garage was bigger. I. Would have a 20 footer

I'll try to dumb it down for you. You posted a video of a 2011 620vs. The question was about a 2021 2080. 2 different hulls. What does this have to do with anything? It doesn't but you are here claiming to have done the research on YouTube Pinterest and Tik Tok. Where was the video link of an 87 lund going through the same waves so we could compare the 2 and really come to an "informed" decision. I don't own a ranger. My advice is skip them both and go with yar-craft or warrior but if it was between those 2 it wouldn't be the lund.

Not to disagree and argue.

So sad when some people (mostly Guest) do.
