Here is a Suzuki test report for the df175 on a Trophy 205 http://www.suzukimarine.com/Product%...%20205%20DF175

Top speed 47.5 @ 6200; prop SS 14 5/8 x 21.

You should be able to go 1 to 2 mph faster, and use only a slightly larger prop. 16 will be too big, and 22” pitch at most.

If you look at other board reports of similar size most have a 14.75” diameter. There are a few 16” but they drop 3 to 4” in pitch.

Trophy 185 with a 175 Yamaha Sho. 9.9 kicker, 3 batteries, full tank, 2 or 3 passenger (doesn't really seem to make a difference) full load of fishing gear, and a full tank. 47.5 Mph GPS (two gps's both said same) 51-52 on the dash speedo. Also, top up or down still about the same. 14.25x17 Reliance prop @ 6k rpms. No, its not a Suzuki but just for a comparison.
