Default Good Sippin Whiskey

I know this could go all over the board so...I'll keep it simple. I'm not a whisky drinker. Love 7&7, Captain & Coke. Trying to find a smooth whiskey, cognac, brandy for sipping or over ice. So far, have tried Crown, Basil Hayden, Jefferson's Ocean. Figure some of you connoisseurs out there can help. Maybe even a good cigar to go with. Thanks!

Bookers small batch is really good. A bit expensive and 126 proof.

Yukon Jack (Is that a sippin whiskey? I sip it.)

Not much of a whiskey drinker though.

Thanks for any opinions. I'll try them all. Need to come up with something before July, I'm on a mission.

If you want smooth stay away from the real high proof stuff most have a little burn to them. Buffalo trace Eagle Rare is very good also Woodford reserve. I prefer Rye has more spice to it Best to my liking in order is Dickel rye, Mitchers rye, Bullit rye and fourth is Woodford Reserve rye

From the makers of Jack Daniels, Gentleman Jack is good, and Jack Daniels single barrel is good. Both very smooth.

I'd bet I could blindfold all of above and none could tell the difference between any of them....
