I own a 2015 WX2060. Great rig! I have been in most other brands/models. I can share my opinion on any questions you may have. They ride great in any conditions. I have experience on Green Bay, Michigan, Winnebago, & Erie. I love mine some much, I have a new one on order and receive it in July. My 2015 is going on the market soon.

I've fished out of a 2060 quite a few times on Leech and they're definitely a solid rig. Lot of good options on the market today for that classification of boat. I highly suggest contacting Dean at the Boat Center. They now carry Skeeter, Warrior and Ranger and they're straight shooters who can line up demo rides very easily.

I was in the same "boat" as you. I was looking at a Ranger 620, 2080MS, 206 Allure and WX2060. I settled on the 2080MS. Here were my reasons.

1) All of the above were very nice boats, I did feel the Rangers looked nicest in and out to me, the 1880 and 2080 seem to really be gaining popularity.
2) I preferred the extra cabin space instead of the horseshoe type storage in the back, took the 620 out for me.
3) The dealer I ultimately purchased from had a 620 sitting right next to a 2080. The hulls were VERY similar, can't imagine much difference in ride.
4) I'm a Mercury guy, took Skeeter out of the running for me.
5) I've taken my 2080 out on Green Bay numerous times, rides good, weight distribution is key.
6) I get compliments at most every boat launch.
7) After pricing the 206 allure, I found the Ranger 2080 was only going to be a couple grand more rigged similarly.

I'm very happy with my Ranger 2080, wouldn't trade it for any other boat. I'm sure you'll be happy with whatever you choose, they are all very nice!

My son and I bought a WX 2060 2 years ago and we are happy with it. The only thing I don't like about it is there is not much foot room in the bow when I use the foot pedal for the trolling motor. I know there is a remote but I have been using the foot pedal for 25 years , by the way I am not stuck in my ways . We priced Skeeter, Ranger and glass Lunds and felt for the dollar Skeeter was the best buy for us. Did not price Warrior at the time because there was no dealer close then. That being said all 4 of those boats are high quality and you cant go wrong with any of them

I’ve got a new Ranger 2080, it’s my 4th Ranger and loved them all. My brother runs a Skeeter 2060 and he likes his boat. He had a yarcraft before and liked that. It’s really a personal preference. Can’t go wrong with any of these.

I own an 1850, so the small brother of the 2080. I fish Erie 20 days a year on trips. So I deal with what weather I have.

I did get to ride in a 2080 MS and a 621 last year. The bow is cut much sharper on the 620 series. I think it is a bit smoother all around, but with that said, the 2080 is still a very solid big water boat.

You can definitely get more for your dollar on the Skeeter with the package including the kicker they run.

You are in a no loose situation!

Don’t overlook the 206 Allure... I was going to put a deposit on a 2060 at a boat show and the Allure happened to be parked alongside. It was an easy decision for me....

I put a deposit on the Allure as well. Great looking boat, excited to get it in a couple of weeks. Definitely worth a look if you are looking at a good 20' multi-species boat.

I went with a 2080ms. I shopped Skeeter, Ranger, and Triton in the 18-20' range. I have a young family so having seating for 6 was important to me. The 620 was out for me because i needed the jump seats.

You can't really go wrong any of those options! The ride in my 2080ms is very good and pretty dry.I have been out on rainy, kab, and mille lacs in poor weather and felt safe. The reality is if the weather is super $hitty I probably won't go out.

I ultimately went the ranger because I liked the layout, and fit and finish. The 206 Allure was nice but i thought the cockpit was a bit tight for me and cramped for electronics.

The skeeter was my #2 but the closest dealer was farther away and my trade number wasn't all that spectacular.

Tough call and let us know which way you go! Post pics!

If you decide to do test rides maybe not do it on a nice sunny calm day, might tell you more about the boat.
