Buyer Beware - T86p

On June 30th, I purchased a couple high end rods and reels from T86p “Travis Peterson”. After 4 days of not receiving my items, I started getting worried as we supposedly only live 3 hours from eachother. I reached out to the individual for the shipping number and he said he’d give it to me but never did. Then I didn’t hear back from him until 3 days later when I threatened to file a claim with my bank. He finally texted me back (won’t answer phone calls) saying he lost his phone and the shipment was returned undeliverable. I asked for proof but he never gave it. That was 3 days ago. Luckily, my bank returned my money - a substantial amount. Another red flag is the guy just joined this forum 2 weeks ago and is immediately trying to sell items. The guy can talk fishing, but don’t be fooled.

I had a very similar experience with T86p. Outside of the fact that after payment was provided I received no feedback from him at all. This occurred on July 6th. I also had to open up a fraud claim with my bank and waiting on if reimbursement will happen. I agree with Thaddeus, this guy is just scamming.

Guy's he is back. He is now Jerry2233. He is targeting WTB adds. This account is brand new. He contacted me and said he had a friend who's name was Travis Peterson. Luckily he made the mistake of not having what I want.
