Default Do You Drink Beer?

Woman: “Do you drink beer?”
Man: “Yes.”

Woman: “How many beers a day?”
Man: “Usually about three.”

Woman: “How much do you pay per beer?”
Man: “Five dollars, which includes a tip.”

Woman: “And how long have you been drinking?”
Man: “About 20 years, I suppose.”

Woman: “So a beer costs $5 and you have three beers a day, which puts your spending each month at $450. In one year that would be approximately $5,400, correct?”

Man: “Correct.”

Woman: “If in one year you spend $5,400, not accounting for inflation, the past twenty years puts your spending at $108,000, correct?”

Man: “Correct.”

Woman: “Do you know that if you didn’t drink so much beer, that money could have been put in a step-up interest savings account and, after accounting for compound interest for the past 20 years, you could’ve by now bought an airplane?”

Man: “Do you drink beer?”

Woman: “No.”

Man: “Where’s your airplane?

I liked the joke. I don't drink but I also don't have an airplane, lol.

Default college try

I tried, I really did, to acquire a taste for beer longg ago. I just never enjoyed it. I'd hear guys talking about having an ice cold one on a really hot day but that never appealled to me. I think maybe the weekend smells in the elevator of the dorm might have ruined it for me. Wine, once in a great while, or a mixed drink, but never beer.

I drink beer, and have an airplane.

Well...if you count RC models.

Lots of different tasting beers Mooner, some are so hoppy I can't enjoy them either, but some are pretty mild.

Shock Top Lemon Shandy is pretty good in the hot weather fwiw.

a continuation on B-man's thread......

Woman: I don't have an airplane either.

Man: You know, you sound a lot like my ex wife.

Woman: I didn't know you were married before:

Man: I wasn't.

I am the same. In college, I had to force down the first one and then my taste buds would not notice the rest. I just don't drink alcohol any longer. My wife works at a brewery and can get me all the free beer I want. I told her to go to work at a chocolate factory.

OK, maybe they taste different, but the smell gags me. Those dorm elevators were/are 100% stainless steel for a reason.
My wife had always wanted to go on a bicycle riding vacation in NAPA Valley. So, a few years back, we did it. We got to taste samples of wine on the tour. Now that was fun.
BTW, my best buddy has several airplanes, so I can fly with him anytime I want. He doesn't have a boat. lol
