Is there a difference between the open water and ice units other than the transducer?
I see there is an update for the non ice but no update for the ice unit. Confused

I have the Helix 7 All Season gps G3N. Yes, it is different and no you can’t download the “non-ice” version. Unfortunately Humminbird doesn’t put a listing for new units until an update is available. I am running rev 2.03 and the non-ice was rev 2.18. After 3 unsuccessful attempts, I contacted Humminbird and after 4 days got a reply that I have the latest rev. I replied suggesting they should put a listing on their site showing the current version and stating that it is the earliest version installed with this model.
