White Sturgeon
Hello everyone,
I am thinking of taking a trip to Vancouver or Seattle Washington. Can someone tell me when would be the best time to go if I want to fish for White Sturgeon? Also, any tips on where to stay? I have relatives that live in Vancouver that I have never met so I was thinking of staying in that region. Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks so much! Lisa |

I fished the mouth of the Columbia last June out of Astoria, Oregon. We did great on the sturgeon. The boat captain said his boat had been hammering them all week long. I can get you the name if you are interested. There are sturgeon boats out of Illwaco, Washington as well. Good Luck Larry |

RE: White Sturgeon
Hey Joe,
It has been a long time since I posted! I've been around though, just lurking in the shadows. :-) Things couldn't be better. Thanks for the heads up on the get together! We will put it on the calendar. We are planning on fishing the World Walleye Cup this year and that's when the championship is. Have to keep a positive attitude and say that we will be busy with that! But if things don't turn out, we will be there! It's a win, win situation I guess. Thanks for the responses guys. Lisa |
