Default OR-16 clips

I bought a pair of them and they dont seem to be holding mono or fireline what is your opinion on it should I just get OR-18 clips or what.

18 are pretty heavy I got 4 of them I bought the or-20 kit I love it I can even cast with em.

Fireline you will need the OR-18.
If you get the OR-16 with the pin in the middle it works great for mono. Sometime you might want to loop you line before clamping on it!

I think you need to use at least 10 pound mono with the OR-16s. I used them for awhile with a superline and they were alright but then my boards started sliding. The pads were worn. I upgraded mine to OR-18s. Never had a board come off with the 16s. Just slide done and my spoon/lure would be 6ft away.
