Fishing Seminar NE IL and SE WI

It looks like Sunday, March 19th, will be a nice day for a drive to Fox Lake, Illinois, Where Captain Walt Koch will be giving a power point presentation on spring fishing on three area lakes. He'll focus on bass fishing Lakes Geneva and Delavan, and finding and getting the spring walleye into our boats on the Fox Chain O' Lakes. He'll also have equipment rigged the way he does when he guides these lakes early in the season.

If you've never seen Captain Walt present, you'll find it informative and entertaining. If you've been present at past presentations he has done at our club, this will be a nice refresher, with all three lakes he guides included, so the information is still fresh when you are ready to hit these lakes.

Admission is FREE, and we will be drawing a winning ticket for a half day out for two with Captain Walt. Attendees will receive a ticket upon entry, and may receive additional tickets when visiting the bar for a drink, whether it be soda pop, beer, or a cocktail of your liking.

I believe Captain Walt may bring some maps to mark up, but with three bodies of water, and the chain having several lakes he fishes, there may not be enough to go around. I would suggest that anyone who has their own maps of any of these lakes that you like to fish, that you bring your maps to mark up.

I attended the seminar once 2 or 3 years ago. It was definitely worth while. He covered a lot of the basics and had a bunch of rigs tied up so people could get a first hand look at how any why different presentations are used.

Some nice walleyes in the Illinois Fox Chain. This one went over 10 lbs caught last spring, released. Many others in the 8 to 9 class. Come learn how to do it. No need to travel hundreds of miles to do it.
