I took a Walleye break today and went after Panfish ( Crappies, Bluegills), Large Mouth Bass&Northern Pike.
For Crappies my clients and & I used Northland Fishing Tackles Fire-Fly Jigs ( glo & sunrise) & Gypsi Jigs ( glo green & Chartruse) sizes for both 1/32 oz. under a Lite Bite Bobber w/ Small Fatheads.. For Northern Pike we used Northlands Fishing Tackle Buck-a-roo 3/8 oz. & 1/2 oz. Sunfish and Perch for colors, w/ a Med Sucker. For Largemouth Bass we used Northlands Fishing Tackles Reed Runner 1/2 oz. Tandem Spinner colors Bluegill, White Shad, & Bullhead.. 12-14 ft, for all species..With a little rain wind and over cast day we smacked them! Good Luck Fishing this weekend http://cdn-img01.gofishn.com/1014a/i...png?1276848628

A gold jawbreaker fished over the top of wild rice beds is dynamite for largemouth bass right now. And remember - there is no such thing as too shallow! I've caught a couple of fat sows in 2 1/2' of water this summer. Good fishing to y'all!
