For anyone else interested I am down to 2 units left. The manufacturer confirmed for me a minute ago that these can be used in a throttle only configuration like a Pro2. The idea there is you can get a Pro 3 and when you add the steer to your boat you can tie right in to it.

tyeeguy...glad you're happy! To get my open water fix I'm gonna take my drift boat to north central Idaho and pull plugs and shrimp for some steelhead in a couple weeks with my twin 11 year old fishing buddies!
