1775 Lund Impact Prop Question
Hi all. I am running a 1775 Lund impact with a 2016 115 Mercury 4S. Just upgraded to a stainless spitfire x7. WOT I am getting about 40-42 but only 5200 RMP. The prop is a 19p, which is what my boat dealer said Lund recommended. Are my RPM's too low? Should I look into getting it repitched to an 18? Thanks for any input.

That's the same set up I have, but I put a 17 inch x7 on, rpm is 58-5900, speed 42.

I would say to "insure" you get the most out of your outboard, try a 17p prop.

We tested in early June. We did better with the 17p- SS x7 -Also...I think your tachometer may not be reading correctly (Set on wrong poles?) because your speed is pretty decent. It doesn't compute. Last edited by T Mac; 10-12-2016 at 09:51 AM. |
