Anchor Bouy's

Does anyone have any experience with anchor bouys? I saw one in the Cabela's catalog and was wondering if it's worth the money? Is this the same set up I've seen for Tarpon fishing, where they will untie the anchor line from the boat, go chase the fish, come back and retie to the anchor line?

Looks like an easy way to retrieve the anchor for sure!
