Default Towing with a Chevy Traverse

Anyone towing their boat with a Chevy Traverse? How does it handle? I'm pulling an 18 ft Alumacraft with the full windshield. Any downsides to be aware of?

As the old Toyota commercial showed you can get about anything rolling with round wheels. For me the issue becomes stopping it when you have it rolling 70 mph down the road and something happens in front of you.

Be sure you understand how much room you need to get stopped and leave plenty of room between you and the next vehicle.

What towing package are you looking at?
They are rated from 1500lbs to 5000lbs maximum towing depending on the package you have.

Agree 100%. Bought a Buick Enclave for my wife and won't even consider towing the utility trailer with gardening supplies in it even with the towing package on it. I've seen too many inadequate vehicles shoved through a stop sign or intersection by a boat. Get a bigger truck or a smaller boat and you'll be safer..

I'm towing a 2018 Lund 1750 Rebel XS with a 115 Pro xs with a 2011 Chevy Traverse that has the trailer tow package, it does a great job, no problems.

I have a Ranger 619vs that I tow with a 2019 Traverse with the towing package. No problems towing, starting stopping at various speeds in the city and on the highway.

You can tow with most any vehicle. I did. I towed a 30 footer with a Bronco. Problem was stopping. I found out the hard way the boat takes control and my brakes did little. I then figured out to leave a ton of room for stopping. I then bought a bigger vehicle to tow with. Be careful.
